During October 24-26, 2016, the Workshop on Ocean Acidification Research in China was held in SKLEC-NIVA Centre for Marine and Coastal Research, State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research (SKLEC), East China Normal University, Shanghai.

Anne Christine Johannessen, Vice President of University of Bergen (UoB), Norway, visited East China Normal University (ECNU) on October 20th, companied by Heidi Annette Espedal, the head of Division of Research Administration, Hans Egil Offerdal, adviser for international affairs in the Division of Research Administration, and Hans Jorgen Gasemyr, adviser on China-related activitie

The new oceanography hotspots of “ocean acidification” and "marine microplastic" were introduced by Professor Richard Bellerby and Professor Daoji Li, respectively. After lectures, participants also visited labs in SKLEC and tried delight test by themselves.

During April 28-29, 2016, the Workshop on Ocean Acidification Research in China was held in SKLEC-NIVA Centre for Marine and Coastal Research, State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research (SKLEC), East China Normal University, Shanghai.

The Norwegian Delegation, consisted of the Norwegian Research Council, Norwegian Embassy and Shanghai Consulate, came to visit SKLEC on Oct. 19, 2015.
