Press release: Studies explore socio-economic implications of ocean acidification in the Arctic

The Continental Margins Working Group (CMWG) Workshop was held in Shanghai by SKLEC-NIVA Center, East China Normal University (ECNU), on Sep.20-21, 2018. It focused on the continental margins field, to discuss the dilemma and prospects of marginal sea’s research. Prof.

Marine Microplastics Monitoring and Ecological Risk Assessment Technology Research Project (2016YFC1402200), which is led by Prof. Li Daoji with SKLEC. Officially launched in January this year, the project has been included into the national key R&D plan.

During February 21-27, 2016, more than ten scientists from SKLEC attended the Ocean Sciences Meeting held in New Orleans, USA.The Ocean Sciences Meeting is the highest international congress in the field of ocean sciences organized by the American Geophysical Union. The meeting is held once every two years.
