Associate Professor

  1. Invited speaker at Ocean Sciences Meeting 2010 sponsored by American Geophysical Union, Portland, Oregon. The presentation title was A Fully Coupled Wave-Current-Sediment FVCOM Model System: An Application to the Changjiang Estuary.
  2. Visiting Scholar at School for Marine Science and Technology, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The research focused on the low-salinity plume at Changjiang Estuary and adjacent regions, and also participated on the development of the wave-current interaction module and thin dam module in FVCOM model.
  3. Principle investigator for research project entitled “Development and application of dike-groyne algorithm for high-concentration sediment environment of the Changjiang Estuary” from National Science Foundation of China.
  4. Co-PI for research project entitled “Development of numerical forecast system for saltwater intrusion and suspended sediment” from State Ocean Administration of China
